Community meetups and outdoor activities, friendly competitions, and special side events, this year is about staying connected beyond the usual conference format.

Our focus goes beyond talks and terminals. We’re bringing the community together through real-world interaction — sports activities, casual tournaments, and shared experiences that build stronger bonds outside the usual hacker spaces.

ROOTCON 20 isn’t just about what happens on stage. It’s about showing up, moving together, and building community all year round — long before the main conference dates.

Things to bring

To ensure a safe and comfortable experience, participants are encouraged to bring:

- Valid ID (for registration and verification)
- Comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor activity
- Closed-toe shoes (required for safety)
- Cap / hat (for sun protection)
- Extra shirt (optional but recommended)
- Personal hydration (water bottle)
- Sunscreen
- Personal protective gear (if available: eye protection, ear protection)
- Small towel / wipes
- Extra ammo (optional, if you plan to shoot more beyond allocation; additional ammunition is available for purchase on-site)
