The killer ROOTCON lineup emerges from the careful review of hundreds of submissions by a team of skilled hackers, researchers, and infosec professionals. The individuals who serve as ROOTCON’s screening team ensure that quality standards and technical complexity along with genuine hacker culture remain intact.

The CFP Review Board is responsible for:

• Reviewing and scoring talk submissions
  
• Ensuring technical and thematic alignment with ROOTCON 19: Augmented Threats
  
• Promoting diversity of thought, background, and topic
  
• Identifying fresh voices and underground talent
  
• Filtering out vendor pitches and weak sauce
  
  Each submission goes through a review process, followed by group deliberation and curation to finalize the roster.
  
  A mix of OGs, operators, researchers, tinkerers, and breakers. Each brings their own flavor to the table—from red and blue teams to threat intel, malware research, IoT, and hacker culture.
