I am a newbie / n00b. Can I attend?

Yes. ROOTCON welcomes everyone, from beginners to seasoned professionals. We’re here to learn and share with each other.

What do I need to bring? Do I need to bring a laptop?

It depends on how you’re participating. If you’ll be playing CTF, you’ll need a laptop. If you’re just attending talks, meeting friends, or exploring the villages, you probably won’t need one.

What are the types of badges?

There’s the official electronic badge and the Type-B badge, a simpler non-electronic option. It is more basic, but still carries ROOTCON’s signature style and stands out from ordinary conference badges.

How do I get an electronic badge?

Electronic badges will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis during on-site check-in while supplies last. If you don’t manage to get one, you’ll receive the Type-B badge. Human+ and Blackcard members are guaranteed an electronic badge.

Do you sell swags on-site?

Yes. Sizes may be limited, so we suggest buying online through our Official Lazada shop .

How do we book at Royce Hotel?

You may reserve a room at Royce Hotel through the Hotel Reservation link. Hotel accommodation terms and conditions may apply.
